Darren qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 and has considerable experience working in industry as well as with a variety of SME's.

 His general business skills comprise audit, accounts and tax although, he is valued in Harbinson Mulholland for his specialist skills such as; expertise in due diligence assignments to assist purchasers, working with software and technology companies in addressing the needs of their investors such as venture capitalists, business planning and management accounting.

2) Past times? - Discussing the meaning of life on a playground swing in Groomsport

3) If you won the lottery what would be the first thing you would do with the money? - Give 10% to charity then sort my family out with the remainder

4) What has been your greatest achievement to date? - Buying my three year old son his first proper bike. All achievement is placed in perspective against the background of a three year old's gratitude

5) Most treasured possession? - Marillion's 13th studio album, which lists my name (along with 14,000 others) on the CD insert as having paid for the album in advance of it being made. That's trust.

6) What car do you drive? - Audi A4

7) What car would you like to drive? - BMW M5

8) What irritates you? - Arrogance

9) Where has been the most interesting place you have visited? - The Colosseum in Rome

10) If you could re-live any moment in your life to date, what would it be? - The day I got my final Admittance Results for the Institute. An exam free, opportunity filled future was upon me. (Hindsight is a wonderful thing).
