Filing and payment reminders for tax and NICs

There are some important filing and payment dates coming up.

2007/08 Class 1A National Insurance on relevant benefits must be paid by 19 July.

On 31 July the second self assessment payment on account for 2007/08 is due. Failing to meet the payment date will mean a further automatic 5 per cent surcharge on any 2006/07 tax that is owing.

Any outstanding 2006/07 self assessment tax returns must also be filed by 31 July in order to avoid a second £100 penalty.

If you are uncertain how much to pay, or you have any questions about your tax liabilities, then please contact us.

Date:17 July 2008
