HM Homegrown One Hundred Campaign Launched

We are delighted to once again partner with Ulster University on this year’s ‘Homegrown’ campaign – an important initiative shining a light on the top performing medium sized enterprises rooted in Northern Ireland.
Representing the ‘mighty middle’ of our economy, this list pays homage to the breadth and richness of the top 10 medium sized locally-owned and family-run firms across 10 different sectors, from construction, engineering and manufacturing to service stations, retail and hotels, alongside food manufacturing, distribution, services and third sector organisations.
This year’s showcase illustrates the huge contribution these 100 firms are making to our local economy and communities – collectively employing 17,000 people and generating a turnover of over £1.7 billion.

The Homegrown campaign will run throughout 2023 to support and profile these ‘mighty middle’ firms.
